SR-91 Corridor Improvement

As our rock work continues for prime contractor Atkinson/Walsh a Joint Venture, on the SR-91 Corridor Improvement Project, traffic is the ongoing topic of discussion. Diversified Landscape Co rock blanket crews were recently featured in a Press Enterprise article about expected delays that night work closures will bring. With the 91, Anaheim to Corona commute, being ranked amongst the top 5 worst in the nation, lane improvements expected to open in 2017 will bring relief to commuters.

DLC crews began site preparation and installation early March. With over 17,000 square yards of Rock Blanket to be installed in 37 different locations, our estimating department believes it will take over 10,000 man hours to complete this contract.  Short period freeway closures and work for DLC will continue until late 2016.

Crews work on the 91 in Corona last week. Nighttime construction will delay traffic on the freeway through the city Monday, June 27 through Thursday, June 30.
