Landscape Field Superintendent

Diversified has an immediate opening for the San Diego and Inland Empire area. Superintendents will oversee area projects and report directly to the Area Project Manager. Ideal candidates must be proficient in all phases of landscape installation and construction projects.

Duties include but are not limited to preparation and submission of various productivity reports, and supervision of multiple projects ranging in size in their assigned geographical area. A Superintendent will work with the Project Manager and be responsible for the effective utilization of personnel and equipment in a union working environment.

Diversified is looking for experienced personnel in the following areas:

• State and Federal highway projects.
• Working knowledge of Green Book and DOT Section 20.
• High leadership skills with ability to mentor and train foremen and lead personnel.

Candidate must be highly motivated, goal orientated, and a team player.

Project Estimator

Diversified is currently seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Project Estimator for our growing Estimating Department.  Position reports directly to the Chief Estimator in support of the completion of bid estimates for landscape projects throughout Southern California.

Duties of the Assistant Estimator will include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in all facets of the estimating process.
• Must be able to maintain high job standards and be detail oriented in a fast paced work environment.
• Be a self starter with ability to work  effectively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively both verbal and written.
• Must be computer literate at the intermediate to advanced level in Excel and Word.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years on the job experience or equivalent college courses in landscape estimating.
